# Changing Playback speed of the video

**Step 1:** Go to the video annotator.

**Step 2:** Click on the 1x  in the bottom right corner of the video player this will open a dropdown with multiple options.

**Step 3:** Select the desired speed of video playback. The higher the number the faster the video will play back.
